While visiting the island Koh Chang in Thailand, I recognised the relationship the local people have with the island’s natural environment. The roads, the electrical networks, and the buildings have vegetation growing all over and around them. One morning I navigated my way down the motorbike busy street to a café to have my daily coffee. Enjoying my coffee in the climate-controlled building and looking through the window to the jungle, I could see the two worlds on this island co existing. At this moment I could see that even though the world is rapidly changing, the natural world is adapting. I can see that our world is going to be OK.
